With a higher discharge current, of say 40A, the capacity might fall to 400Ah. In other words, by increasing the discharge current by a factor of about 7, the overall capacity of the battery has fallen by 33%. It is very important to look at the capacity of the battery in Ah and the discharge current in A.
Maximum 30-sec Discharge Pulse Current –The maximum current at which the battery can be discharged for pulses of up to 30 seconds. This limit is usually defined by the battery manufacturer in order to prevent excessive discharge rates that would damage the battery or reduce its capacity.
There is no generic answer to this. You read the battery datasheet. Either it will tell you the max discharge current, or it will tell you the capacity at a particular discharge rate, probably in the form C/20 where C means the capacity. You know the current you need : 4.61A.
(Recommended) Charge Current – The ideal current at which the battery is initially charged (to roughly 70 percent SOC) under constant charging scheme before transitioning into constant voltage charging. (Maximum) Internal Resistance – The resistance within the battery, generally different for charging and discharging.
Maximum Continuous Discharge Current – The maximum current at which the battery can be discharged continuously. This limit is usually defined by the battery manufacturer in order to prevent excessive discharge rates that would damage the battery or reduce its capacity.
A 1C (or C/1) charge loads a battery that is rated at, say, 1000 Ah at 1000 A during one hour, so at the end of the hour the battery reach a capacity of 1000 Ah; a 1C (or C/1) discharge drains the battery at that same rate. The Ah rating is normally marked on the battery.

C Rate Calculator for Charge and Discharge Currents
[ C Rate = frac{Current of Charge or Discharge (A)}{Energy Rating (Ah)} ] Example Calculation. If a battery is being charged at 5 amps and has an energy rating of 20 Ah, the C rate is calculated as: [ C Rate = frac{5}{20} = 0.25 C ] This means the battery is being charged at a rate that is one-quarter of its total capacity per hour.

Sustained current refers to the current that the battery levels off at, after the initial surge drops the voltage down to a level where the chemical reactions can replenish the voltage and maintain an equilibrium for a while. The peak current is the highest current achieved, which isn''t as useful for prolonged tasks because it''s over in a few seconds usually. I think …
