PV module consists of different materials with variation in the coefficients of thermal expansion which may induce stress in the PV module causing delamination . During the lamination process, the temperature is first raised to 150 °C to cure the EVA and thereafter cooled down to room temperature.
As a result of the analysis, the application of proper thermal loads during the treatment at low temperature allows to control the delamination process of layers. This proof can represent a change in the paradigma of PV panel dismantling, largely improving the sustainability of the decommission process of these products.
